Good grief

Yep, I disappeared off the face of the earth. I can't believe it's been over a year since I was last on here!

Luckily it's not been anything bad, just being focused on other things. It's been a long while since I've really written anything and I need to get back into that groove. I'm still tossing around the idea for an original pirate romance circa 1820's, mostly doing a lot of research online and trying to find out rough time lines.

As for Inuyasha...other than catching it at 5am on CN, I am so far behind. I think I watched the last two episodes of this season and it's over already. I've gotten hooked on True Blood and have been trying to catch up on that too. It's been so hot here lately that once work is done, I've pretty much been a vegetable.

Will I finish any of the partial works I have out there? The honest answer is, I don't know. I would like to, but things in life have gotten to the point where I'm drained just walking in the door. I would hate to give up writing entirely (it keeps the voices in my head in order) but it could be months again before I find my way back to it.

Hopefully everyone is keeping cool and I'm going to try and wander around and catch up on what I missed!
